I have bet on millions of rounds of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
