black jack is a game that reminds me of a rollercoaster. Blackjack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom collapses.
Blackjack is so very similar to a wild ride the similarities are alarming. As with the popular fair ground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for awhile before it bottoms out once again. You most certainly have to be a player who can adjust well to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of black jack is choked full of them.
If you like the small coaster, one that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the mad ride is with a much bigger wager, then jump on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not easily recount how much you enjoyed everything while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride … your head in the sky. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that disastrous fall as clear as day.
