I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
