Automatic shuffle machines are being used in todays tables which makes shuffle tracking or card counting impractical. The brick and mortar casinos are going to place shuffling machines at the tables.
It is stated that in places like sin city, video cameras are being used to look at the abilities of the players and intelligent blackjack tables that keep tracks of players hands and tactics utilizing magnetized chips.
